POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking for a candidate highly adaptable to changes in the business need, flexible to working schedules and eager to learn and perform different tasks at our facility in Oxnard, California. The candidate must be conscious and follow safety requirements when moving and operating the equipment. In addition, this position will be responsible for the physical and mechanical condition of the equipment, through daily and weekly inspections and providing basic maintenance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform the weekly and daily inspection of the equipment assigned for the week by following the check list provided.
• Perform the basic maintenance of the equipment.
• Responsible for the order and cleanliness of the equipment
• Follow all safety procedures for the movement and operation of the equipment.
• Move containers to and from the warehouse doors/docks and the parking spots at the yard or in the warehouses. Open and close the container doors when at the docks.
• Support the reach stacker operator on chassis swap for over the road dispatches.
• Make the necessary movements of equipment within the yard/warehouses as instructed by Supervisors (or Manager) to organize the facility
• Plug and unplug containers from their parking spot when necessary
• Keep track of the movements performed with the equipment.
• Keep track of fuel requirement of the equipment.
• Comply with any additional task assigned by the Operation Superintendent and/or Manager.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma required • California Driver License (class A preferred but not exclusive given the yard trucks do not leave the yard premises).

Temp to Hire - Pay $24.09 | Full-time, 1st shift from 5:30AM to 2:00PM
This position will focus on performing installations, repairs, rebuilds, and preventive/predictive maintenance on automated production equipment, facility equipment, and other building automation. Automated production equipment includes CNC mills and lathes, box making machines, metal surface treatment equipment (plasma machines), pick and place machines and other equipment normally found in an SMT operation. Facility automation equipment includes HVAC systems, CCTV systems, access systems and lighting automation. Position will perform major building electrical, construction, automation programing and other services relating to the upkeep of the facility and production equipment.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience
1. Knowledge of automation systems, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic processes. Experience with automated SMT equipment is highly desirable.
2. Troubleshooting skills, both mechanical and electrical, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex automated and/or computer-controlled production equipment with the ability to coordinate the replacement and installation of such equipment.
3. Must understand PLC ladder logic and text-based logic programs within control systems for manufacturing equipment.
4. Must be familiar with 480/277 voltage systems, computer controls, networks, and other cabling systems.
5. Skills in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics and/or blueprints as well as technical product specifications to understand and identify standard manufacturing parts. In addition, must be able to read safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
6. Ability to train others in the maintenance of machines and equipment.
7. Ability to continuously learn the application of maintenance techniques/methods on existing and new equipment.
8. Ability to follow instructions, work and cooperate with all levels of the organization, and work in a leadership capacity when needed. Must show courtesy, tack and effectiveness in dealing with all members of the organization.

SUMMARY:
The Electro Mechanical Stretch Blow Molding Technician will provide technical guidance and diagnostic capabilities to maximize production up time. Interprets maintenance and reliability data by evaluating the data history. Ensures uninterrupted efficiency of production and plant operations. Manages and works on maintenance projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completes Mold changes and complete line set-ups on time
- Hands-on processing skills including mold startup, sampling, troubleshooting, optimizing cycles, setups, changing molds, etc.
- Visually and audibly inspects and tests machinery and equipment to detect malfunction to diagnose problem or repair of machine
- Dismantles defective machines (e.g., blow molding machine) and installs new or repaired parts (e.g., hydraulic valves), following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
- Responsible on control scraps, downtime, machine’s utilization.
- Identify and report potential equipment and building problems
- Follow all product safety regulations and procedures established by the company according to SQF code.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Extensive knowledge of plastic conveying and blender systems, compressed air systems and water chiller/tower systems

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Mechatronics Engineering degree a plus but not required when candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

- PET Stretch Blow Molding or PET Injection Stretch Blow Molding experience preferred, other Injection Molding and Blow Molding experience will be considered
